Overburn

As the name implies overburn it means "burn" up to exceed the limit.
In this case, the limit is passed the limit of available capacity. So when a CD-R has a capacity of 700MB, then with overburn can forced to accommodate the data that the total size of 707MB for example. This could be achieved because often times the media has a "place" that is bigger than the specifications. Overburn Obviously this depends on many factors and can not done to increase the capacity of a much larger, such as a CD-R 700MB for a total data size of 760MB. Some things that affect this overburn CD-Writer is used, the media used (brand and type), and settings during combustion. If one of these things are not met then overburn will not be able to achieve. The first requirement of course is a CD-Writer used. These CD-Writer should be able to overburn. If this is not met, overburn impossible. Generally a CD-Writer which is currently circulating supports overburn. For CD-Writer which has support overburn, this is usually mentioned in the specifications of the manufacturer. Using a program such as Nero Burning Rom can also obtain information about overburn support this.

media used. Not all media have the same characteristics. So the CD-R or CDRW different brands or different types will have the characteristics of different overburn. There can not be overburn, others can be overburn although only slightly. Surely that is sought media which can be adequately alias overburn capacity additions tolerable. To find out which media is best suited for overburn on a CD-Writer used, one way that the bias is used is to try various available media. In order to bias the results obtained are rather universal, each brand and type tried several times. The last requirement is a matter which setting to use. Generally things must be considered is the speed used. Usually overburn have a higher likelihood of success on the combustion using a low speed. One way to obtain overburn optimum speed of this is through trial also
