Alcatel One Touch 990




Alcatel has announced the One Touch series of mobile phones at Mobile World Congress, with the aim of making Android accessible and easy to use. The upcoming Alcatel OT-990 is the company’s flagship handset, and the leading member of its “Get Apps” range. The One Touch 990 handset has a 3.5 inch screen, runs on Android 2.2 OS, and has a 5-megapixel snapper onboard. The fully-touchscreen device packs a 3.5 inch capacitive display pre-loaded with 20 apps, a 600MHz processor and Android 2.2, making it seem more of a “mass market” device. It also 5Megapixel camera with flash & auto focus, a VGA webcam, Bluetooth, GPS, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, up to 32GB of storage and a 1300mAh battery. At launch, the Alcatel 990 will be available in a number of colours, including Purple and Red. Alcatel One Touch 990 smartphone is scheduled for release in May 2011 but sadly, its price has not yet announced.
